How it Works

I will get back to you within 24 hours, just let me know what the best way to contact you is. We will connect briefly and determine if we are a good fit for each-other.

A retainer of $199 and a signed contract is required to hold your date.

02.


Meet up


After booking, the planning gets underway. A lot of our communication will be over the phone or e-mail/text if you prefer. We will meet in person at least once prior to the session to walk through your location and talk more details so that both you and your horse will be prepared on your session day.

session day


The big day! We meet as scheduled and waste no time starting your session. My style is very relaxed and very informal. We will be moving around to different areas like friends going for a walk. Letting your horse move around with intermittent stops will generally put him/her at ease.

Post Session


We will meet again in approximately a week's time for the big reveal. You will then decide what package works best for you and choose your favorite images. I will do final touch-ups on your favorite images and you will receive a link to download your images. Print packages are optional. I am happy to put a print package together for you and take care of any printing needs you have if you prefer that option.

This is my first professional photo session, what should I know?

A photo session with your horse is a time for relaxing and bonding. With a little planning and preparation your photo session will be fun and enjoyable. After you book your session you will receive a welcome guide with a checklist of things you can prepare in advance so you can spend your session time bonding and enjoying your pony.

What should I wear?

The quick answer is something that you feel really comfortable in. With that said, I have a lot of information for you on this subject and it will be included in your welcome packet after you've booked your session.

Can I include anyone else in my photo session.

YES! My packages are based on one horse/rider combination, but you are welcome to include others be it a human you love or fur baby. Addtional fees apply.

Are you available outside of Southern California?

Absolutely. I am always game to see new landscapes. Let's talk about what you have in mind and the time and travel involved to determine additional fees.

I don't need a bunch of pictures, can you just take a few real quick?

Even the most experienced models spend a great deal of time in front of the camera in order to get great images. I want the absolute best images for you too! Whether you are planning on getting the smallest package option or the whole enchillda, I spend the same amount of time at your session because I know the more time we are together the more comfortable you and your horse will be. This is the recipe for beautiful images and will give you a smorgasbord of proofs to choose from.
